Jaguar Productions held their annual “Student Center of Terror” on Halloween night in the student center. Students enjoyed monster-themed food and had the option to take part in spooky festivities such as a haunted house, photo-booth, and an escape room. Students also had the opportunity to “stuff-a-zombie” where they filled a zombie-pet creature with cotton to take home as a memento of the event.
“It’s just a good time for people who may not have any Halloween plans to hang out on campus and enjoy Halloween-themed activities,” said Asten Cosby, president of Jaguar productions.
The escape room was the most popular activity that students participated in. It was a blackout room with challenging puzzles and riddles to escape, and the goal was to get back into the light because it was completely dark in there. This was located in two student center rooms, 211 and 212.
“This year, we added a new novelty, which was the “stuff-a-zombie” and pumpkin decorating,” Cosby added. “The most challenging thing had to be making sure everyone was having a good time.”
Stay tuned for upcoming events from Jaguar Productions. Tuesday, Nov. 5, there will be a showing of the Lion King in the Student Center ballroom at 7 p.m.
